TIL that buttons on public webpages can toggle settings on and off in #Firefox without notice or warning just by clicking on them.
This includes enabling AI features even if the "Block AI Enhancements" toggle is turned on in settings.
*long sigh* FUCK I'm so tired of this shit.
[EDIT: This "feature" is whitelisted to only work on domains controlled by Mozilla, which is not as big of a problem as I originally thought - but the bypass of the "Block AI Enhancements" toggle is the thing that really pisses me off. In the quoted thread, Mozilla replied, confirmed the issue, and stated they are working toward a fix.]
