Friday at the Next Web

Brown.Bradley HorowitzBradley Horiwitz's background is in technology. He is currently employed at Google and responsible for its apps. Google's main philosophy is: think big, change the world as we know it. But as an advise to startups: if you ain't got nothing, you've nothing to loose (Bob Dylan). Attention is limited, so there, computers can be of help. One thing is to use all types of context parameters when you're recording data. A photo taken in the time that I was on holiday in Scotland, is probably made in Scotland (made up example by ed.). Bradley pleads for not neglecting the power of wetware, humans. Planning the Next Web 2009

 Aanstaande woensdag is het zo ver… The Next Web 2009. Ik ben eigenlijk helemaal niet zo'n conferentie ganger, maar het zou er maar eens van komen… Festivals wel… dus ik beschouw het maar als een 'Lowlands' voor nerds :) * En daarom dien je dus een programma te maken… Hej, geen overlap! (of toch wel op Woensdag) Toch kan het interessant zijn, een voorbeschouwing, wat is wat, en waar zou ik er even tussen uit kunnen glippen :)

Woensdag

Woensdag begint de unConference… het niet officiele gedeelte. Tentje opzetten zeg maar. Een stukje background info: ik speel gitaar. En ik heb geen iPhone (30 euro voor een mobiel abbo :o (ik weet het, ik zou niet eens hier rond mogen lopen!)). The current web, tenslotte, kennen we nu wel, en dus glip ik, enigszins met het 'failliete' fabchannel.com in mijn achterhoofd, naar music and bits. Enkele services zullen worden besproken, zoals Twones, Sellaband en LiveNation.
