How sites can comply with Do Not Track

A murb'ed feed, posted more than 7 years ago filed in w3c, privacy, eu & standards.

From the abstract:

This is a guide to how sites can comply with Do Not Track (DNT). It is based on experience gained helping sites give users control over tracking, using the DNT Consent API, where it is supported, to communicate explicit consent to sites and their third-parties. It does not aim to be a complete guide to how all the DNT building blocks can be used, but tries to deal with those that can help meet the requirements of European Data Protection and ePrivacy law.
