The Challenge of Identifying UX Success Metrics

UX is more than just nice layouts. Especially when there is a current system in place that needs to be improved, one can set targets that a redesign should improve. In this article Jared M. Spool describes how he set metrics. I specially like these primary measures in these examples, opposed to e.g. measuring completion time or pages visited which are maybe easy to measure metrics, but typically hard to interpret as true measures of success.
